Citrus Avocado Ranch Fish and Shrimp Tacos

Deliciously simple!
Top with either a cool chipotle ranch or a zesty taco sauce or both!

2-4 Tilapia Filets
1/2 lb Shrimp
(Peeled and Deveined)
1 Cup Romaine Lettuce with Red Cabbage
2-3 TBSP Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
1 Avocado
1 Lime or Lemon
2 TBSP Chipotle Ranch Dressing
1 Packet Taco Seasoning
1-3 TBSP Spicy Taco Sauce or Sriracha (Optional)
3-5 Corn or Flour Tortillas
Start by juicing the citrus either lime or lemon works well.
Zest the citrus.
Add in the juice and zest.
Add 2-3 TBSP of Chipotles in Adobo sauce. The citrus may mute the spice a bit but the flavors are great together!
For a spicier finish smash and add the actual peppers to the mix.
Rub the mixture over the tilapia and shrimp.
Season liberally with the taco seasoning.
Now pan sear the tilapia first.
Remember to add some cooking spray!

Cook for 3-5 mins per side.
When tilapia is finished. Wipe the pan clean and sear the shrimp.

Notice I only season one side of the shrimp to add dimension in flavor.
While shrimp cooks heat a large skillet on medium high heat for the tortillas.

Only 1-2 mins per side is needed.
Take some of the avocado ranch dressing and add a dollop.
Add the lettuce and avocado.
Top with your delicious protein creation!
Top with more avocado ranch if preferred.
Or for even more flavor add some taco sauce or sriracha as a topper.
Serve as pictured. A fun family anytime meal.
Delicious and ready in only minutes.
