3 Ingredient Tarnish Remover

Ingredients and Materials:

1/4 Cup Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Distilled Vinegar
1 Lemon
Ceramic Dish
Tarnished or Dull Sterling Silver, Silverware
Gentle Cloth for Polishing
Start by slicing the lemon.
Gently place the rusted or tarnished items in the dish. I use ceramic as it has less of a reaction than metal or plastic during the processing.
Add the lemon and the vinegar.
As the video shows, slowly add the baking soda until the fizzing reaction starts.
It will start to slow down a bit.
Set aside for 30 mins to an hour.
Polish using a gentle cloth.
Just beautiful!

This process is even gentle enough for the oldest antiques and other most cherished items to ensure no dangerous chemicals devour the surface.
Look at that shine!

Please note some items have various finishes and may not always restore 100% back to the original as with store bought tarnish removers.

No worries- if it can be restored, this will do the trick using just these simple ingredients and steps!

This is also great for a burned or scorched pot simply heat the pot to medium high, sprinkle with baking soda and squeeze on fresh lemon. Carefully wipe clean with a wet towel! Like magic it’s back to normal in no time!

The best part, all ingredients are from everyday use and can be considered an all natural alternative to standard tarnish removers on the market.

Warning: Use this combination of ingredients only for its intended purpose. May be harmful if swallowed. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep away from eyes and wash hands to follow the process to avoid allergies or other reactions.
