Make Ahead Cranberry Sauce

This recipe is so easy and delicious, I had to post it twice!

3 Cups Fresh Cranberries
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Apple Juice or Apple Cider
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
Pour all ingredients in a medium to large pot.
The sugar detracts from the sourness of the cranberries. The longer it cooks the better.
Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Remove from heat.
In a bowl with a strainer pour in the mixture.
All juice will separate from the berries.
Mash berries with the back of a
wooden spoon until desired consistency.

Incorporate a few of the mashed cranberries into the reserved juice.
Separate for jellied and chunky style or combine for one fabulous relish for Turkey

Cover and refrigerate for a
few hours or overnight.
Serve chilled.
