Easy Homemade Almond and Chocolate Toffee

4 oz. Mini Milk Chocolate Morsels
(Or Dark Chocolate)
1 Cup Sugar (Or Sugar Substitute)
1 Cup Raw Almonds
1 Cup Unsalted Butter (or Vegan Butter)
9×13 in. Pan
In a large skillet over medium heat, add butter for 1 min. Slowly add in sugar or sugar substitute. Add the almonds.
A sugary buttery skin will start to form.
Continue to stir.
Bring to a medium boil.
As the skin starts to loosen and candy becomes light brown, it’s time to move to the pan.
Let sit for 1-2 minutes. Candy will start to form.
Add chocolate chips over the candy mixture with a spatula, spreading evenly into a thin melted chocolate layer.
Keep spreading.
Refrigerate uncovered for at least 2 hours to overnight (cover).
