(Optional: Gluten Free Flour)

Using dough insert. Blend salt and flour.
Slowly add in cold unsalted butter.
Blend on high for 5-7 mins.
Add in ice water a Tbsp at a time.
Continue to blend until mini dough balls form.
Remove jewelry and with your hands form one large dough ball.
Add foil to surface and sprinkle area with flour.
Roll the dough.
Slice into pieces to fit muffin pan.
Form over each muffin opening and push in to make little pockets for the apples.
Combine the apples and cinnamon.
Add apples to the pockets.
Cover the tops by folding inward and squeeze the ends to close. Don’t worry about the open areas it helps the turnover retain that moistness after baking.
Place in your 350 oven and bake for 30 mins. Remove from oven and brush with a little butter. Return to oven and brown for 3-5 mins.
Let rest for 3-5 mins.
Serve with any variety of vanilla ice cream.
Margarita glasses are a great option to display this beauty! Apply bunny ears 😉
Delicious!
